Muscat: The cruise ship 'Artania' has docked at Salalah Port in Dhofar Governorate with more than 900 tourists on board on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that the Port of Salalah received today the cruise ship "Artania", carrying 1,394 passengers, including 927 tourists, as part of its tourism programme in a number of ports in the world.

The programme for the passengers of the cruise ship which is coming from the port of Safaga in Egypt and heading to the Port of Sultan Qaboos in the Muscat Governorate included tours that included  important archaeological, tourist and historical monuments that the Dhofar Governorate is famous for, in addition to visits to the beaches and traditional markets in the city of Salalah.

The Sultanate of Oman annually witnesses the visit of many cruise ships due to its distinguished maritime location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of ​​Oman.
